Jumeirah Beach Hotel
Jumeirah Beach Hotel is a hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The hotel, which opened in 1997, is operated by the Dubai-based hotelier Jumeirah. The hotel contains 598 rooms and suites, 19 beachfront villas, and 20 restaurants and bars.[4] This wave-shaped hotel complements the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab, which is adjacent to the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
The hotel occupies a location on the beach. Visitors to the hotel have at total of 33,800 square metres (364,000 sq ft) of beach for their use.Beside the hotel is the Wild Wadi Water Park. All guests in the hotel have unlimited access to the waterpark.
The beachfront area where the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel are located was previously called Chicago Beach. The hotel is located on an island of reclaimed land offshore of the beach of the former Chicago Beach Hotel. The locale's name had its origins in the Chicago Bridge & Iron Company which at one time welded giant floating oil storage tankers on the site.
The old name persisted after the old Hotel was demolished in 1997 since Dubai Chicago Beach Hotel was the Public Project Name for the construction phase of the Burj Al Arab Hotel until Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the new name.
When completed in 1997, the Jumeirah Beach Hotel was 93 metres high making it the 9th tallest building in Dubai.Today, it is ranked lower than the 100th tallest building. Despite its lower rankings, the hotel remains a Dubai landmark.

Amazing View of Osaka Castle with Sakura Blossom in Osaka, Japan
The castle was to become the center of the new unified Japan under Hideyoshi after centuries of war. It featured a five-tiered main keep with the exterior of the keep covered in gold leaf and ornaments to impress visitors and enemies alike. One of the most impressive was the golden shachi, a roof ornament in the form of a mythical creature with the head of a tiger and the body of a carp, believed to protect against fire. The keep also featured 8 giant fusetora tigers (golden tiger) decorations.
Unfortunately, the original castle was destroyed by Tokugawa Ieyasu’s forces in 1615 during the second siege of Osaka Castle. The castle was rebuilt again but was razed to the ground rather than being surrendered it to the forces of the Meiji Restoration in 1868
The current structure is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of the original Toyotomi castle.

5 Top-Rated Tourist Attractions in Dubai
5 Top-Rated Tourist Attractions in Dubai
Glitzy Dubai is the United Arab Emirates' vacation hot spot. This city of high-rises and shopping malls has transformed itself from a desert outpost to a destination du-jour, where people flock for sales bargains, sunshine and family fun. Dubai is famous for sightseeing attractions such as the Burj Khalifa (the world's tallest building) and shopping malls that come complete with mammoth aquariums and indoor ski slopes.
But this city has many cultural highlights as well as all the glamorous modern add-ons. Take a wander around the Bastakia district and you'll discover the Dubai of old, then cruise along Dubai Creek in a traditional dhow and you'll soon realise there's more to this city than its flashy veneer.
1 Deira Souks
Deira is located on the northern bank of Dubai Creek and the winding streets here unveil the melting pot of different nationalities that have come to call Dubai home. On the shore, ancient dhows load and unload with modern banks, hotels and office buildings for a backdrop. For travelers Deira is most famous for its traditional souks (markets), which bustle with shoppers at all times of the day. Deira Gold Souq is world-renowned as the largest gold bazaar in the world and the reason that Dubai has received the name "City of Gold". Jewellery of all kinds is available in a variety of designs from traditional to modern and plenty of options to customise your own design.

Dubai Creek separates the city into two towns with Deira to the north and Bur Dubai to the south. The creek has been an influential element in the city's growth, first attracting settlers here to fish and pearl dive. Small villages grew up alongside the creek as far back as 4,000 years ago, while the modern era began in the 1830s when the Bani Yas tribe settled in the area. The Dhow Wharfage is located along Dubai Creek's bank, north of Al-Maktoum Bridge. Still used by small traders from across the Gulf, some of the dhows anchored here are well over 100 years old. You can visit here, watching cargo being loaded and unloaded on and off the dhows. Dhow workers often invite visitors onto the vessels for a tour, where you can gain insight into the life of these traditional sailors. Many of the dhows here travel onwards to Kuwait, Iran, Oman, India, and down to Africa's horn. This tiny remnant of Dubai's traditional economy is still a bustling and fascinating place to wander around.

3 Bastakia (Old Dubai)
The Bastakia Quarter was built in the late 19th century to be the home of wealthy Persian merchants who dealt mainly in pearls and textiles, and were lured to Dubai because of the tax-free trading and access to Dubai Creek. Bastakia occupies the eastern portion of Bur Dubai along the creek and the coral and limestone buildings here, many with walls topped with wind-towers, have been excellently preserved. Wind-towers provided the homes here with an early form of air conditioning, with the wind trapped in the towers funnelled down into the houses. Persian merchants likely transplanted this architectural element (common in Iranian coastal houses) from their home country to the Gulf.

4 Dubai Museum
Dubai's excellent museum is housed in the Al-Fahidi Fort, built in 1787 to defend Dubai Creek. The fort's walls are built out of traditional coral-blocks and held together with lime. The upper floor is supported by wooden poles known as "handels", and the ceiling is constructed from palm fronts, mud and plaster. In its history, the fort has served as residence for the ruling family, seat of government, garrison and prison. Restored in 1971 (and again extensively in 1995) it is now the city's premier museum. The entrance has a fascinating exhibition of old maps of the Emirates and Dubai, showing the mammoth expansion that hit the region after the oil boom.

5 Burj Khalifa
Dubai's landmark building is the Burj Khalifa, which at 829.8 m is the tallest building in the world. For most visitors a trip to the observation deck on the 124th floor here is a must-do while in the city. The views across the city skyline from this bird's-eye perspective are simply staggering. The slick observation deck experience includes a multi-media presentation on both Dubai and the building of the Burj Khalifa (completed in 2010) before a high-speed elevator whizzes you up to the observation deck for those 360-degree views out across the skyscrapers to the desert on one side and the ocean on the other. Night-time visits are particularly popular with photographers due to Dubai's famous city-lights panoramas.

TOP 4 TOURIST ATTRACTIONS IN THAILAND
If you’re planning a backpacking trip, or simply fancy some time away at a tropical destination to chill out and get away from the rat race you should consider Thailand. It has been a favorite destination for backpackers and tourists alike. What isn’t there to like about this beautiful country with its year round warm temperatures, white sandy beaches, and turquoise water? (Did I mention the friendly locals?)
Thailand has so many things to do and see that it’s wise to stay for at least 2 weeks. You could easily stay longer while you spend months relaxing at the beach and partying the night away at full moon parties. However long you plan on staying for make sure you visit between November and February to avoid the humid wet season (if you do visit outside of this time period, it’s best to get out and about early in the morning as the heat is more bearable then).
If you’re lucky enough to get to visit Thailand then make sure you include the following in your itinerary:
Chiang Mai:
You can head to Chiang Mai for a taste of something different altogether. The city is home to over 300 temples (in and around the main city), many featuring spectacular decoration and statues. Don’t be fooled by it’s history as Chiang Mai is a bustling metropolitan city underneath it all with designer clothes shops, boutique hotels and many fine dining eateries. Don’t miss the Chiang Mai Arts & Cultural Centre and Wat Phra Sing (one of the most spectacular and beautifully decorated temples in Chiang Mai). What better place to start your visit than Bangkok, Thailand’s capital city which is home to several of the floating markets the country’s so famous for. The vibrant, bustling, China Town is where the much debated Shark Fin Soup can still be found. You can also find beautiful temples, delicious food infused with Thai, Chinese and Western influences. You’d be mad not to add this to your list of must see places in Thailand. Here are some places in Bangkok not to miss: Yaowarat (China Town), Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn) and Bang Khu Wiang floating market
